The Science Museum of Virginia is holding this community conversation in association with RACE: Are We So Different?, a groundbreaking exhibition that examines the topic from scientific, historical and cultural perspectives. RACE is a project of the American Anthropological Association and is funded by the Ford Foundation and the National Science Foundation. This event is free.

This free event will bring history to life throughout the city of Richmond, Va. As April 2011 marks the 150th anniversary of Virginia's decision to secede from the Union, special programs will be featured that explore this event in the nation's history.
